Ethiopian Girl Skaters

Ethiopian Girl Skaters conduct weekly skateboarding and mentoring sessions for Ethiopian girls ages 6–17, including those who have been internally displaced from conflict-affected regions such as Tigray, Amhara, and Somali. Their participants come from low-income areas and often face mental health challenges related to poverty, forced migration, and limited access to essential services like education, healthcare, and recreational activities. EGS was selected for a community grant with the Pushing Against Racism fund in 2025/2026, coordinated by the Goodpush Alliance.
