Black Girls Shred is a Chicago-based community-built organization dedicated to fostering safety, promoting health awareness, rallying resources, advancing equity, and developing play spaces for youth and young adult shredders (ages 15-25). While our primary focus is on uplifting the Black community, we are committed to all communities of color and marginalized identities, creating inclusive opportunities across action sports for shredders of all styles and skill levels. BGS was selected for a community grant with the Pushing Against Racism fund in 2025/2026, coordinated by the Goodpush Alliance.
