Skateistan is an award-winning, women-led organization—bringing the world together, with skateboarding. Founded in 2008 on the streets of Kabul and now present all over the world, Skateistan works in many of the most insecure and unequal communities on the planet, we create safe spaces where marginalized children can learn, play, and shape
their futures.
Every donation you make helps us to reach over 10,000 individuals in more than 50 locations over five continents.

Host a Fundraiser
At Skateistan, we pride ourselves on our ability to find innovative ways for the world to support at-risk youth worldwide. Over the years people have done all sorts of events, online and in-person, to raise money and awareness for our work. This includes art exhibitions, music festivals, film screenings, skate jams, co-brandings, livestream gaming, and more!
We are especially interested in working with gamers and creators who want to make a positive impact for children, especially girls, who lack safe spaces to play and learn.
