International Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Skateistan. As a small Afghan NGO, we rely on people like you to make a difference in our students' lives. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can work well in a team and want to make a positive contribution. Volunteer placements with Skateistan are for a six month period only - short term placements are not possible in either Afghanistan or Cambodia.

In order to best place you we need to hear more about your skills and experiences working with other projects. Please take some time to complete this questionnaire and tell us more about your motivation for joining our team! For volunteers who come to Kabul for six months, Skateistan will cover travel, visa, and living costs, including accommodation and food during their stay. Volunteers chosen for Cambodia must pay their own travel, visa and living costs, however Skateistan will provide accommodation.

Due to limited time we regret that only selected applicants will be contacted. Please note that for the Projects Volunteer position, only those willing to go to both Afghanistan and Cambodia will be considered for a placement.
